We are holding a two day mega yard sale to support Soi Foundation to help build a new rescue shelter. The items below may be of interest to some of your club members. A friend from New York will be coming and has kindly offering these for sale to raise funds. Proceeds from the sale will be used for this cause. Please pass along.
– Have ads running on Kijiji and UsedOttawa for this upcoming sale with a list of some of the other items.
This will be our last supper session until September so there’s much to discuss including Prose in the Park, Can-Con in October, movie outings during the summer and favourite new books.

Monthly supper meeting to set the world straight
As well as our customary attempt to set the world straight, we can discuss movies and any good SFF books folks might be interested in. Also as a possible topic, a book based on a activist internet hackers such as Anonymous’s current campaign against Cyberjihad and the potential for any collective to attack its enemies via the Internet.
It is a good idea to join our Meetup site, as it can be used to automatically email the members, without exposing those addresses to anyone. You’ll also get automatic reminders of events.Â
