We’ll be gathering for our next dinner meeting at the Colonnade Pizza downtown, Wed Apr 3rd, 6:30 pm. This is to make up for the postponement on March 20th. Colonnade Pizza is at the corner of Metcalfe and Gilmour. We’re at table 59 in the back right hand (north east) corner of the back section of the restaurant. Reservation is Alex Binkley’s name as well as OSFS.

We average 1 to 2 new members a week. We had some new members attend our February meeting and hope to see more of you on the 3rd.

UPDATED Mar 19/13: As the weather is being utterly unco-operative , we are postponing the OSFS supper scheduled for tonight at the Collonade on Metcalfe until next month. While driving might be possible, parking downtown could be iffy with this much snow. Will let everyone know when we have a new date.

Updated Mar 17, 2013:  The weather office warns we could be in for major snow Tuesday. If that’s the case and in fairness to our members who come from different parts of the city, the meeting will be postponed until April unless there are enough hardy souls willing to wade through hell and high snow banks. Watch for further details. 

We’re gathering again for dinner and discussion on Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 at the Colonnade Pizza on Metcalfe at Gilmour. Please join us at 6pm for food and fun. 🙂

Perkins Restaurant 1130 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, ON (map), 6:30-9:30pm, Wed Feb 13

We will be meeting in the back room at Perkins Restaurant at the corner of St. Laurent and Coventry Rd. There’s a table reserved in the name Alex Binkley for the Ottawa Science Fiction Society. There is free parking at the restaurant, the transitway stops across the street at the St. Laurent Centre and there are buses along St. Laurent Blvd. We have a lot of new members in OSFS and hopefully some of you will be able to attend so we can meet you.

There will be a gathering in Orleans the following week, a supper get together downtown in March and a possible gathering in Kanata in March or April. If you have suggestions for other activities, let us know.
